BforB launches in Africa!

Business for Breakfast (BforB), one of the UK’s leading and most successful business networking organisations, is set for further international expansion with the launch of its first African master licence in Ghana.

Ghana’s economy has outpaced overall growth rates in Sub-Saharan Africa for the past decade and more. Although the pace has slowed more recently, there remains the demand for higher education and a drive for businesses success within the country.

Founder of Business for Breakfast, Mel Fisher, said; “This new partnership is really exciting for Business for Breakfast and we welcome William, Richard and Albert to the team. The opportunities for us to bring a networking structure to an emerging market like Ghana is massive. With businesses working together, we feel as though there is an opportunity to make a real impact and become part of a new, modern outlook on businesses cooperation with the country.”

William Antwi, co-owner of the Ghana and Tongo BforB master licence, said; “It’s a really exciting time to bring a structure to networking in Ghana. Currently, the closest thing is asking your family or friends if you know someone. It’s all very informal and not at all measurable.

We believe that a structure like BforB will help bring a new form of internal business cooperation to Ghana that will help to secure a more sustainable future, whilst opening new doors, for a range of companies across the country.”

As the number of groups and members grow, William, Richard and Albert plan to recruit a French speaking franchisee to take the concept into Tongo. “Once we have a proven formula in Ghana, it will be great to take this outside our borders and develop groups elsewhere,” added William. “Both Ghana and Tongo really are perfectly placed to benefit from a structured networking programme. To be able to bring this support system and help other businesses grow and prosper, is the reason why we feel so determined and driven to make this work.”
